Commuter Coordinator
This job is for the planners, the people-connectors, and the ones who can turn a “Hey, we should do something” into an actual event that brings commuters together.
Commuter Coordinators are the go-to people for Liberty’s commuter students. In this role, you’re part event planners, part mentor, and part community-builder, creating spaces where commuters can connect, grow, and actually enjoy their college experience. Whether hosting a coffee hangout, helping students navigate off-campus life, or just being a familiar face commuters can count on, Coordinators shape what it means to belong here. If you love bringing people together, making things happen, and leading with both confidence and chill, this is your role.
- Full-tuition scholarship + paid compensation
- 30 hours per week
- Lead and mentor a commuter neighborhood
- Hands-on experience in event planning, leadership, and community building
- Must live off campus to serve in this role.
- Must be actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate Liberty student.

Commuter Life Assistant for Engagement
This job is for the energy-bringers, the conversation-starters, and the ones who can make a random Tuesday on campus feel like something worth showing up for.
Commuter Life Assistants for Engagement are the hype team behind the celebration events, pop-ups, and lounge experiences. From setting up tailgates to greeting students in the Commuter Lounge, you’ll help create fun, welcoming spaces where commuters can connect and belong. If you love meeting people, throwing events, and making sure no one eats lunch alone, you’ll thrive in this role.
- Paid, non-scholarship position
- 15-20 hours per week
- Get paid to extend hospitality, meet new people, and make campus more fun
- Hands-on experience in event planning and student engagement
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate Liberty student.

Commuter Life Assistant for Resources
This job is for the problem-solvers, the fixers, and the “I got you” kind of people.
Commuter Life Assistants for Resources keep the Commuter Resource Center running and the Food Pantry stocked. They coordinate food drives, receive community donations, and connect students with practical support. They also work with other departments to expand resources and make sure commuters have what they need to thrive. If you like staying organized, making things happen behind the scenes, and being the reliable person others count on, this is your role.
- Paid, non-scholarship position
- 15-20 hours per week
- Hands-on experience in student support, logistics, and resource management
- Perfect for students who like helping others and keeping things running smoothly
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate Liberty student.
