Liberty University Criminal Justice Club
Club Mission Statement
The Criminal Justice Club exists to connect Liberty University students with local, state, and federal law enforcement professionals, and to provide tangible and impactful service events for the local and national community.
What to Expect as a Member
Our club typically has a major event once per month, as well as law enforcement related service projects as opportunities arise. Every year, many opportunities will be presented to club members to round out the personal experience and a government resume.
Club Accomplishments
The SCOPE Program provides an internship-like experience with Lynchburg PD to assist real officers’ work with the community. Our club regularly invites high profile guests from the FBI, DEA, Virginia State Police, Lynchburg Police Department, and countless other organizations to come to campus. These men and women share their experience and network with students through presentations and hands-on activities. Our club in recent years has also sent members to real-world training events off-campus with the FBI, Virginia State Police, Park Rangers, and others.
Additional Club Information
We hope you consider joining us; membership is free! If you decide to join the club, please make an effort to attend our events. Membership involvement is important for us to continue to be able to invite special agents, officers, and other professionals from the criminal justice field.
