Our performance opportunities are as follows:
Open Mic – Any student, at any talent level, can sign up and perform in front of an audience of hundreds of people. We book one student artist to open and close the show with a total of 4 songs. This can be a solo performance or a full band! This event normally occurs once or twice a month and is the perfect way to get started performing with us.
Couch Acoustics – This event occurs a couple times a semester and is a great way for student artists to perform in front of fellow students in a more intimate setting. Student artists that are booked for this event are limited to an acoustic set (no drums!) and a max of a 4 member band. We typically book about 3 bands, of varying genres, that play a 30 minute set of originals and covers.
Special Events – Each year we host events like Parking Lot Concert, Christmas in Lights, Fall Fest, etc. that require a concert. For these events we book bands that we have worked with and know are professional, talented, and energetic. Genres vary per the needs of the event and most require that a drummer is included in the band.
Coffeehouse – Any and all students are invited to tryout during one of our 4-5 tryout nights for a chance to be in Coffeehouse! Acts come in all shapes and sizes- while most are bands we heavily encourage dance groups, magicians, skits and comedians try out for Coffeehouse! 10-20 acts are chosen for the show and are granted the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of people.
Block Party / After Party – Similar to Special Events, these bands have performed with us in smaller capacities and have proven that they are professional, talented, and energetic.
