What is DecideLU?

Deciding which college to attend is a major decision. We know that you have many options, and we want to make your decision as easy as possible. Liberty University provides multiple events that can help make your college decision easier, including DecideLU.

What is it?

DecideLU is a one-day event designed to help you through your journey to become a Liberty University student. Students will be able to create their own schedule for the day that caters to their specific needs. You can meet with our Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Transfer Evaluation teams, as well as attend various group sessions. You will also be able to go on campus tours that are focused on our athletics, academics, dining, and recreation facilities, as well as visit model dorm rooms.

Who is it for?

The event is for high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, transfer students, and their families. You don’t have to be committed to Liberty to attend DecideLU. The event is designed for both students who are trying to decide on which college to attend and students who are planning on attending Liberty and need to finish their admissions process.

When is it?

Liberty hosts the DecideLU event four times each summer. Here is the schedule for the summer of 2021:

June 4, June 18, July 9, July 23

The event typically lasts from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why should you come?

DecideLU is a great opportunity to learn more about the details of attending Liberty. In addition to all of the college admission and college scholarship information, you’ll learn about what your first year at Liberty will look like. The Student Panel and Surviving Your First Year sessions will help you prepare for coming to Liberty and let you know what to expect. Whether you are a high school sophomore wanting to learn more about Liberty, or a transfer student wanting to know what to expect, you should come to DecideLU!
