Things to Do at Liberty University CFAW November 2020

Sep 25, 2020 • Graham B.

University operations and college tours everywhere look different this year. It is necessary for us to take safety precautions for our current students, faculty, staff, and prospective students. So, while College For A Weekend (CFAW) may look a little different this November, there will still be plenty for you to do to get a robust Liberty University experience.

The main difference between CFAW this November and CFAWs in the past is that attendees will not be able to stay in the dorms on campus. However, you will still be able to tour our sample dorms and find out which dorm you would like to stay in when you start attending Liberty. Another big difference this year is that there will not be any large in-person events such as concerts or Convocation. However, attendees will still be able to view Convocation via live stream.

While the large events will not be happening, you will still have plenty to do here. Most of our recreation facilities, such as the Montview bowling alley, Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre, and the Hydaway Outdoor Center will still be open. At these facilities you will have the opportunity to snowboard, tube, go on walking trails, kayak, hammock, and much more! You can also tour the academic buildings, meet professors, and even attend classes. And of course, you will still be able to eat at our amazing dining facilities across campus!

If you and your family want to get a taste of the area, you can also take yourself on a tour of Lynchburg, Va. There are plenty of businesses and places to visit around here, as well as some great hikes to do.

The bottom line is this: though College For A Weekend won’t quite look the same this November, it will still be a great opportunity to find out if Liberty is the right school for you. We can’t wait to see you!
