Student Organizations in the Liberty School of Business

It is important for students to seek ways to get involved at Liberty socially, academically, and professionally. If you are going to major in business administration, or if you are majoring in something else and want to make connections and familiarize yourself with a certain area of business, you should consider joining a School of Business student organization.

There are currently 13 active student-led organizations and honors societies in the Liberty University School of Business:

  1. Accounting Society
  2. American Marketing Association
  3. Cyber Defense Club
  4. Enactus
  5. Financial Management Association
  6. International Business Association
  7. Society for Human Resource Management
  8. Student Asset Management Fund (SAM Fund)
  9. Student Association for Project Management
  10. Technology & Engineering Club (TEC Club)
  11. T3 Club
  12. Delta Mu Delta
  13. Sigma Beta Delta

With this much variety, there is a place for everyone. These student-led organizations give students the opportunity to network with their fellow classmates and professors, as well as special guests who have experience in the business world.

The organizations typically meet weekly, where guest speakers will come and talk about things that they have learned in the workplace and provide tips for being successful in their specific industry. Many of the organizations also participate in national competitions with other chapters of their organization. In these competitions, students develop projects and case studies throughout the year and then present them at the national competition. There are also opportunities for students to work with various nonprofits while in the organizations to gain real-world experience.

JT Bicket, a student in the School of Business, said that, “The School of Business clubs not only gave me hands-on experience in various industries, but they also allowed me to serve alongside other like-minded individuals that share my career interests.”

Joining a student organization in the School of Business is a great way to get to know students with the same passions as you, become closer to your professors, and develop connections with professionals for a possible future career. In addition, involvement in these organizations looks great on a résumé. If you have any interest in the world of business, consider looking into these organizations!
