Transfer Policies School of Visual & Performing Arts
General Transfer Policies:
- Accreditation: Regionally or Nationally Accredited Institution, approved through the Department of Education
- Grade: B- or higher. Grades of P are eligible to transfer as long as the grading system at the transfer institution states that P is equivalent to B- or better.
- Equivalency: Similar in content and scope offered at Liberty University. Taken from a graduate program in a closely related field.
- Hours: 3 semester hours (4.5 quarter hours) per course
- Age Limit: 10 years for master’s programs unless otherwise stated
- Credit Limit: Most programs allow a maximum of 50% of the program hours to be transferred; exceptions are listed below and at the bottom of the first page of the DCP. Credit from a conferred Liberty University degree is counted towards transfer hours.
