Letters of Hope to Ukrainians
Writing Letters of Hope to Ukrainians
All written letters from the Liberty community will be delivered with the packed food for Ukrainians. UBC 22 will carry these letters of hope with key humanitarian food and aid to Ukrainians inside Ukraine.
You can deposit your letters in the designated containers right after Convocation on Friday, March 3rd in the Vines Center Concourse until 12pm or drop-off at Lahaye Multipurpose Center where the Meal Packing for Ukraine event is taking place from 1:30 – 8:30 pm.
Please review the following notes before writing your letter!
Helpful tips for good letters:
- Please be uplifting and encouraging!
- Keep in mind that not all recipients are followers of Jesus Christ.
- Share the hope you have within you!
Avoid the following:
- The word ‘Russia’ in any form.
- Any political statements/opinions about the conflict.
- Misplaced empathy [e.g. “I understand what you are going through…”].
- Using advanced English vocabulary [English will be the second language of most recipients].
