THES 689 facilitates thesis writing for the Master’s student from the point of the introduction through the concluding chapter. Based on an approved proposal, the student will write their thesis during the THES 689 course and complete it to the degree that satisfactory progress is made to be able to defend their work in THES 690. Progress will be evaluated between the student and their thesis mentor to confirm breadth of research and the quality of the thesis document. As the student completes their thesis, the focus shifts to confirmation of readiness for the thesis defense.
