Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student will post one thread of at least 500 words for each Discussion. The student must respond to two classmates’ threads, each with a unique reply of at least 250 words. For each thread, the question(s)/prompt(s) must be answered thoroughly and logically; major points must be stated clearly and effectively; the post must stay on topic and have a clear, logical flow; and assertions must be supported with at least two scholarly citations in current APA Style format. Each thread should relate the topic to biblical principles and incorporate Scripture. Each reply must move the conversation forward with new ideas, research, and analysis; be delivered in a thorough, thoughtful, and analytical manner, with the student’s position clearly evident; and incorporate at least two scholarly citations from the Learn items used during the assigned module: week in current APA Style format. Any sources cited must have been published within the last five years. Acceptable sources include peer-reviewed research articles. All posts must avoid errors in grammar, spelling, and APA formatting.
The four Program Evaluation Report Assignments in the course will guide the student through creating each section of a research paper: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, and Discussion. The student will consider a potential study for the Program Evaluation Report Assignments based on a topic of interest and write each section required by the assignments, following the structure and format presented in the assigned readings. The student will be given information to explain the research design and the results of the statistical analysis to be used in the Methodology and Results sections of the Program Evaluation Report. Each assignment must be formatted in current APA Style, include sections that conform to high-quality research standards, and fulfill specific requirements listed in the assignment instructions. Each assignment must show a deep understanding of research methods overall, relate the topic to Scripture/biblical principles where appropriate, and have no/minimal errors in grammar, spelling, or current APA Style. Each assignment must be 8–20 pages, not including the reference section, using Times New Roman 12-point font, double spacing, and 1-inch margins. The assignment instructions list the number of citations needed for each assignment. All sources used must be scholarly peer-reviewed articles.
Each quiz will cover the Learn material for the assigned module. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 5–10 multiple-choice or true/false questions, and have a 1-hour time limit. Each quiz will allow 1 attempt.
