Rationale
HSCI 990 is the final step for the PhD doctoral candidate in Health Sciences. It provides the student an opportunity to defend the dissertation and publish the completed manuscript.

Quiz: Defense Schedule
Contains 1 True/False question asking about whether you have scheduled your dissertation defense with your chair, and 1 essay question asking about when this has been scheduled (i.e., what date and time).
Dissertation: Final Manuscript Assignment
Any feedback received during the dissertation defense must be applied to the manuscript. Candidates are encouraged to submit their manuscripts for professional editing before submitting it to Scholars Crossing. (CLO: A)

After presenting his or her Dissertation Defense, the student will submit his or her dissertation to Scholars Crossing. This is a requirement for the student to receive a final grade in the course. A copy of the submission confirmation must be submitted. (CLO:A)
