Students will historically and philosophically examine the ethical foundations and choices that have been established for the purposes of promoting the free market.

Discussions (4)

Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each discussion. Each initial thread post must be 100 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 150 words. (CLO: A, B, C)

Essay Assignments (3)

The student will write a 1,200 to 1,500 word response (exclusive of cover page, footnotes and bibliography) in current Turabian format that addresses assigned questions/issues generated from course content. The paper must include significant citation use of the assigned course materials and well as at least two outside scholarly resources.  (CLO: A, B, C, D)

Quizzes (4)

Each quiz will cover material from specific assigned Modules. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 7 objective (5 pts each) and two short answer (20 pts each) questions, and have a 75 minute time limit. (CLO: A, B, C, D)
