Rationale
Those who pursue music as a career often need advanced skills in audio mixing, and mastering. This is particularly true for those training in commercial music. This course will prepare students to produce high quality audio mixes music and to engage appropriately with mixing and mastering technology.

Students will be assigned projects that reflect the progression of content in this course and assess the student’s ability to apply the presented concepts.
Quizzes (8)
Quizzes will be given on a regular basis to test understanding of assigned Learn items. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 10 true/false, multiple choice, and multiple answer questions, and have a 60 minute time limit. Each quiz may be attempted twice, with the highest score counting towards the grade. (CLO: 1, 2, 3)
