Rationale
There is a need for a “capstone experience” in the HR program that requires multi-disciplinary knowledge and skills including: overall strategy, strategic thinking, management, human resource development & management as well as behavioral and ethical elements.

Discussions (4)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each discussion. The student will post one thread of at least 600 words. The student must then post 2 replies of at least 450 words. For each thread, the student must support his/her assertions with at least 3 scholarly citations in APA format. Each reply must incorporate at least 3 scholarly citations in APA format. Any sources cited must have been published within the last five years. In addition, the student must integrate a minimum of 2 citations of scriptural support as well as the course textbook in each post/reply.
Case Study
Selecting an organization from the Fortune 500 list, the student must complete an in-depth case analysis, divided into three sections. The student will utilize the strategic management process. The assignment should follow current APA guidelines. Students will submit the 4–5-page narrative including references using MS Word.
Case Study
Using the company selected in the HR Business Model Assignment, the student will complete a SWOT analysis and narrative for the assigned organization. The student will include an analysis of the HR activities regarding specific business unit within the HR function (i.e, the staffing and compensation areas of HR). The items will be submitted using a 4–5-page MS Word document in APA format for the narrative.
Case Study
The student will use the assigned case from the previous two case assignments: Business Model Assignment and the data obtained from the SWOT analysis assignment to identify HR needs for the organization. The student will describe the data evaluated. A detailed strategy will be provided in the 8–10-page APA formatted document.
Integration of Faith Assignment
The student will write an essay that is a minimum of 500 words in current APA format, explaining how his/her Christian worldview or biblical financial principles will impact the policy and strategy theory created in the individual case study within a business world context. The essay should be supported by at least 3 scholarly, peer-reviewed sources and at least 3 Scripture references.
