Rationale
The ways that employees communicate and interact are changing. This course is a part of the MSHRM program and serves to familiarize managers with the role of technology in HR functions, emerging trends in HR technology, and concerns about HR practices and policies addressing employee use of technology.

Discussions (3)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student will participate in 3 Discussions. The student will post one thread of at least 500 words and 2 replies of at least 300 words. Each discussion thread and each reply must include at least 2 scholarly citations, the textbook, and Scripture. Both parts of the discussion (thread and replies) must be submitted by the published deadlines in order for the student to earn credit for either part of the discussion.
Case Analysis Assignments (4)
The student will write four 1500-word academic and scholarly papers delving into the week’s learning outcomes and applying the course’s theories and concepts. Each paper should use at least 4 scholarly sources (published within the last 5 years), the course textbook, and biblical integration.
Manager’s Hot Seat Case Scenario Assignments (5)
The student will view a video on a specific workplace scenario. The student will then assume the role of the manager as he/she responds to multiple-choice answers that apply critical thinking on the course topics to the situation. There are five videos and response sets in the course.
Quizzes (8)
Each quiz will cover the Learn material for the assigned module: week. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 20 multiple-choice questions, and have a 35 minute time limit.
