BUSI 408 Adaptive Project Management

Organizations complete projects in complex, dynamic environments that sometimes require more innovative project approaches. Adaptive project management explores emerging project methodologies that reflect non-traditional approaches as well as the technologies, processes, and analysis needed for success in a diverse, global environment.

Discussions (4)

Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each Discussion. Each thread must be 250 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. Threads must be completed in APA format and include at least two scholarly references in addition to integrating the Bible. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to two other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 150 words, directly address the classmate’s thread, be in APA format, and include at least one scholarly reference and the textbook. Any sources cited must have been published within the last five years. Acceptable scholarly sources include peer-reviewed journal articles. (CLO: A, B, D)

The student will review Cengage Read items during the assigned Module: Week. Then, the student will complete the activities based on the assigned readings within MindTap. All assignments for a given Module: Week are posted in Canvas. (CLO: A, B)

Arboretum Project Assignments (2)

The student will complete a written project answering text-based prompts that explore agile principles to plan a project. The paper must address all questions listed in the instructions and will be completed in two parts. For the Arboretum Project: Beginning & Planning Assignment, the student will respond to 21 questions from the course text. For the Arboretum Project: Executing & Closing Assignment, the student will respond to 17 questions from the course text. The length of the assignment will vary, but the student must respond to all assigned questions (some with multiple responses). The student should be sure to follow the provided template in Canvas to ensure formatting is consistent. (CLO: A, B, C)

Quizzes (4)

Each quiz will cover the Learn material for the assigned module(s): week(s). Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 25 multiple-choice, short answer, and/or true/false questions, allow for one attempt, and have a 50-minute time limit. (CLO: A, B)
