Rationale
BMAL 621 focuses on three things. 1) Analyzing nonprofit principles based upon current theories or concepts. This course emphasizes the practical side of developing the actual competencies and attitudes necessary for successful, effective fundraising. 2) Recommending solutions based upon research and knowledge of the literature. The course will cover how managers and leaders at all levels of an organization impact the effectiveness of fundraising. 3) Addressing the need for Christian leaders and managers to integrate their faith with their learning and actions regarding fundraising across all types of nonprofit organizations.
Course Assignment
No details available.
After reading the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in the Course Overview.
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore . The student must post one thread of at least 400 words responding to each prompt and demonstrating course-related knowledge. The student must then post two (2) replies of at least 250 words responding to the posts of their peers, demonstrating course-related knowledge. For each thread, students must support their assertions with at least two (2) scholarly citations from peer-reviewed journals, one (1) citation from the text, and one (1) biblical integration, all in the current APA format. For each reply, students must incorporate at least one (1) scholarly citation from a peer-reviewed journal, one (1) citation from the text, and one (1) biblical integration, all in the current APA format. In completing your reply, students will need to reference their peers’ thoughts/ideas. In doing so, students must treat their peers’ thoughts/ideas just like any other source in APA format. Additionally, add your peers’ threads to your References list. In completing the Discussion thread and replies, students will not use the same scholarly sources. Instead, students must have different/unique sources for the initial thread and both replies. Therefore, for each Discussion assignment, with two replies, the student will research and cite four unique scholarly journal sources. The only sources that will be duplicated are the textbook(s) and the Bible. Lastly, scholarly sources cited must be published within the last five years.
The fundraising plan will consist of 4 parts. Each student will research and submit a fundraising plan consisting of three papers and conclude with a presentation. All parts of the project must be written in current APA format.
