Course Description
A comprehensive study of the Revelation. Particular emphasis is given to understanding the correct method of interpreting the book. The verse-by-verse study will be supplemented with historical, doctrinal, and eschatological materials. The primary method of information delivery will be through presentations, and reading and writing assignments.

Rationale
The book of Revelation is the climax of all of God’s previous disclosures of Himself and His will to man. It is the conclusion of the canonical Scriptures and gives the most detailed glimpse into coming prophetic events. This book has captivated the attention of Bible students from the very time it was penned, and hundreds of books have been written to explain its visions and prophecies. As the capstone of God’s revelation and of man’s interest, it is fitting, indeed essential, to come to grips with this vital part of God’s Word.

Discussions (4)
The student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each discussion. Each thread must be at least 250 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 100 words. Both threads and replies should cite at least 3 sources: the Bible, the textbook, and 1 other scholarly source. (CLOs: A, B, D, E, F)
Essay Assignments (4)
The student will write four 2–3-page essays in current Turabian format that focus on topics assigned by the instructor. Each essay must include at least 3 references in addition to the course textbooks and the Bible. Each essay will be submitted through Turnitin. (CLOs: A, B)
Quizzes (4)
Each quiz will cover the Learn and presentations for the each module: week in which it is assigned. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 50 multiple choice and true/false questions and have a 90-minute time limit. Specific instructions will be included with each quiz. (CLOs: C, D, E, F)
