Rationale
The biblical counselor must proficiently utilize skills within the counseling moment to encourage appropriate healing. Thus, the biblical counselor must understand the various skills and practices available and utilize these with competence and care.

Discussions (2)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student will complete each Discussion by creating a thread of at least 150 words and replying to at least 2 other student’s posts in at least 75 words in the Modules: Weeks in which Discussions are assigned. The student must post in a manner that propels the conversation forward. The student must utilize at least one citation in each thread and reply. (CLO: A, C)
Video Discussions (6)
The student will complete 6 demonstration roleplay vignettes. These are video presentations of material covered in the assigned Module: Week. Essentially, these assignments will allow the student to integrate, practice, and demonstrate skills related to key course content. (CLO: A, B, C, D)
Build a Treatment Plan Assignment
The student will use notes from an initial counseling session to fill out the Treatment Plan form. (CLO: A, B, C, D)
Treatment Plan Assignments (6)
These assignments are an opportunity for the student to put into practice what he/she has learned throughout the coursework. Specifically, the student will be developing a case conceptualization, determining a strategy best suited for the client that matches with the student’s ability. (CLO: A, B, C, D)
