Prepare for a Career in the Defense Sector with Our MA in Military Operations – National Security Degree
Are you a current member of the armed forces? Perhaps service to your country is your passion – you recognize that the United States is unlike any country in the history of the world, and you are dedicated to preserving the freedoms that the people of our nation enjoy. At Liberty, we want to do more than say “thank-you” by offering you generous military benefits. We want to help you maximize your time in the armed forces and enhance your knowledge of national defense. That’s why we offer a Master of Arts (MA) in Military Operations – National Security degree.
Throughout the course of history, nations have been at war with one another. The necessity of a strong national defense is nothing new to America, but the challenges that America faces are constant, ever-changing, and increasingly complex. With Liberty’s Master of Arts in Military Operations – National Security degree, you can become better prepared to address these threats while demonstrating principled, measured leadership in positions that require knowledge of military operations. Whether you’re a civilian or a current service member looking for a master’s degree from a respected, military-friendly college or university, Liberty’s 100% online military operations – national security master’s program may be for you.
Why Choose Liberty’s MA in Military Operations – National Security Degree?
As a pioneer in distance education since 1985, Liberty knows what it takes to design rigorous, respected online degrees that offer academic, professional, and spiritual benefits. Our years of experience in online education have helped us perfect the art of training ethical, principled leaders through an online platform. At Liberty, you can earn your degree from anywhere in the world.
Liberty is also proud to offer generous tuition discounts to military service members. At the graduate level, service members and their spouses pay just $275 per credit hour — a rate 50% lower than our standard full-time graduate rate of $565 per credit hour. It’s our way of saying “thank-you” for your service to our country.
We recognize that earning a college degree requires time. We also recognize that for military service members, your free time may be limited. Maybe you’re currently enlisted and would like to earn a master’s degree, but you deploy soon and can’t commit to taking 16-week courses. We offer 8-week subterms each semester that allow you to progress towards graduation while you continue your service to our country.
While military students may find this degree to be a great fit, you don’t have to be a service member to pursue this program. If you hope to teach military studies at a college or university someday, this degree can help equip you with an in-depth knowledge of military operations that you can share with your future students. Our military operations and national security master’s degree can also serve as an excellent stepping stone to a doctoral degree program.
