Academic Support Services

  • Jerry Falwell Library – Thousands of periodicals and scholarly journals available to online students through the Jerry Falwell Library Research Portal.
  • Tutor.com – Receive 10 free hours per semester of one-on-one tutoring from the comfort of your own home available 24/7.
  • Tutorial Videos and Live Webinars – Webinars and tutorial videos are a great way for you to supplement your education with instructional media that can minimize stress, provide insight into processes and procedures you might have questions about, and make you feel more a part of Liberty University and all we have to offer.

The Liberty University Career Center is a valuable educational and career development resource for all students and alumni. Career Center counselors can help you:

  • Choose a degree program that best fits your skills, abilities, and interests.
  • Search for jobs and internships.
  • Review and analyze your résumé.
  • Connect with job fair opportunities in your area.

The Math and English Assessments should automatically be added to your Canvas page after admission into an associate or bachelor’s degree program. Unless you have previously received credit for a prerequisite course, you must take the assessments before you can register for a MATH or ENGL course so that we can make sure you will be prepared for the course requirements.

If you need more preparation before you dive into your more difficult courses, Liberty University offers many preparation courses with foundational training and support for college study habits, learning strategies, computer use, and basic English and math support.

Please note: under some circumstances, specific preparation courses may be required as a condition of your admission to Liberty University. Your admissions counselor will inform you of any requirements upon receiving an admissions decision.
