Our 100% online postgraduate and doctoral divinity programs are primarily offered in 8-week courses with no set login times – giving you the freedom to earn your degree without sacrificing your commitment to your family, job, or community. Not only that, but The majority of tuition for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs has not increased in 9 years. It’s just one more way we seek to help you pursue your unique ministry aspirations and be a Champion for Christ.
Our divinity courses are taught by faculty who have years of experience in ministry, education, and Christian scholarship. They are committed to helping you grow in your walk with Christ while providing you with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively spread the Gospel. Additionally, Liberty’s John W. Rawlings School of Divinity is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) – so you can be confident that your degree is both academically excellent and well-respected among churches, ministries, and nonprofit organizations.
Which doctoral divinity degree is right for me?
At Liberty, you’ll have several divinity doctorates and postgraduate programs to choose from. With a postgraduate degree like the Master of Theology (Th.M.), you can gain advanced training beyond the master’s level without committing to a full doctoral program.
The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) is a great option if you want to develop hands-on ministry skills for use in your local church or parachurch organization while a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) can help you gain valuable research experience and theological understanding – equipping you for roles in publishing, research, and teaching.
The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree blends elements of both the D.Min. and Ph.D. – allowing you to explore the theory and praxis of leadership and education for application in academia and faith-based organizations.
