Positively Impact the Lives of Our Nation’s Military Members and Their Families

Liberty University’s Bachelor of Science in Military Studies – Resiliency can prepare you to serve our nation’s heroes and their families by helping them cope with the physical, mental, and spiritual challenges of military service.

Military service members sacrifice much to serve their country. Often they put their personal and professional lives on hold while they are on duty. Family members also endure the stresses of long deployments, sudden moves, and other adversities.

This military resilience degree program will give you an understanding of the cycle of resilience and how to help members of the Armed Forces and their families deal with trauma — and be stronger for it. The concepts you’ll learn can also be applied to other areas of life, giving you a firm foundation for helping any individual affected by hardship, disaster, or crisis.

What Will You Study in Our Bachelor’s in Military Studies – Resiliency Degree?

You will gain the knowledge and skills needed to support those who defend the United States – at home and abroad – as well as develop a strong Christian foundation for leadership and appreciation for this country’s Judeo-Christian heritage. Liberty University’s military studies degree is supported primarily by coursework on military history and cultural studies to provide contexts for existing military policy and threats.

In this program you will also:

  • Gain extra insight into the resilience life cycle and the different phases of personal resilience.
  • Learn to support current and former military personnel as they transition to civilian life.
  • Explore new ways to encourage spiritual development.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of military doctrine and culture.
