Course Requirements Checklist
After reading the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in the Course Overview.
Homework Assignments (15)
Homework will be submitted through WebAssign. You will have 4 attempts on these assignments. The questions will be randomized after each attempt and the numbers will change slightly. The best score from your 4 attempts will be recorded in the grade book. After the student’s 3rd submission of the homework, the solutions will be given to the student. So, this means you will have the solutions for your final submission. This is a gift and a great tool. Please use the solutions as a tool for studying for your quiz and/or exam. (CLO: A–I;FSLO: TSQR 1–3)
Quizzes (4)
Each quiz will be submitted within WebAssign. You will have 3 attempts on these quizzes. The questions will be randomized after each attempt and the numbers will change slightly. The best score from your 3 attempts will be recorded in the grade book. After the student’s third submission, the student will be given the solutions to the quiz and no more submissions will be allowed for that quiz. This is a gift and a great tool. Please use the solutions as a tool for studying for your quiz and/or exam. (CLO: A–I;FSLO: TSQR 1–3)
Exam Assignments (3)
Each exam will be timed, handwritten, open-book/open-notes, and cover the material for the assigned modules/weeks using the educational software called Gradescope. On all written work, the student is expected to write correct mathematics to avoid point deductions. It is imperative that the student knows how to submit a PDF to Gradescope. Not submitting the PDF of the exam to Gradescope correctly will result in a deduction in points. (CLO: A–I; FSLO: TSQR 1–3)
Final Exam Assignment (1)
The Final Exam will be timed, handwritten, open-book/open-notes, and cover all of the material from the course.
