Liberty University Online Academy is recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a member institution of the Virginia Council for Private Education. This means we’ve met high standards of quality and that our courses satisfy K-12 educational requirements for students living in Virginia.
While LUOA is specifically designed to meet Virginia state standards, our student body extends across the globe. In fact, we have students studying from all 50 states and over 80 countries! Our online learning platform provides the freedom and flexibility for students around the world to easily access their curriculum and connect with their teachers.
It’s important to note that each state has different requirements for K-12 education. If you’re interested in LUOA, be sure to check with your state to ensure our school complies with the laws and regulations in your area.
