Biography
Professor Everett is a Liberty University Alumni who started her nursing career in the Emergency Department. There she worked with new nurses, nursing students, paramedic students, and was active within the department to better serve her patients. She then went to work on the Mother-Baby Unit taking care of newborns and Postpartum women. Being at the bedside during such a wonderful time was an amazing opportunity for her to work! Following this, she went to work with outpatient surgical patients at Surgicare, which gave her the opportunity to continue to maintain her skillset and work at the bedside with the patients and their families.
In 2011 she became a clinical adjunct for Liberty University, working as an instructor in the Emergency Department for adults and pediatrics. In 2018, she became full time faculty at Liberty University as a Professor of Nursing, teaching clinicals for Medical-Surgical Nursing, pediatric nursing, community nursing, and then becoming lead faculty for the Medical-Surgical Certificate Program and Health Assessment. Professor Everett is also lead professor for NURS 210: Health and Physical Assessment. She has a love for education, bedside nursing, and doing her part to make nursing students that are knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly the hands and feet of Christ.
