Lisa Smith, DNP, RN, FNP-C

Biography
Dr. Smith has been a nurse practitioner since 1996. She has worked in urgent care and GI during her career as a nurse practitioner. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she was a perioperative nurse. Dr. Smith worked as an adjunct professor for LUSON prior to joining the FNP/DNP program as a full-time faculty member, teaching the FNP practicum courses, serving as the FNP/DNP Program Director and Practicum Field Director..
Dr. Smith has three adult children, who are married, two grandsons and a granddaughter.
