Flames football training camp begins

With 30 days to prepare for its 2009 opener at West Virginia on Sept. 5, the Liberty Flames officially started training camp Thursday afternoon at Williams Stadium, with nearly 90 football players returning to Liberty Mountain.

Liberty remains the pre-season favorite in the Big South Conference for the third year in a row.
