Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2020 announced; new members enshrined over Homecoming Weekend

Six new members will be inducted into the 12th class of the Liberty University Athletics Hall of Fame over Liberty’s Homecoming Weekend.

The Class of 2020 will include representatives from six sports: Jeff Mincey (’77, baseball), Larry Blair (’07, men’s basketball), Morgan Hout (1984-88 football head coach), Samuel Johnson (’86, men’s soccer), Henry Elliott (’89, men’s track & field), and Andrea (Wildrick) Hampson (’02, women’s track & field).

The induction ceremony will take place Oct. 9 in the Montview Student Union, Alumni Ballroom before the new members will be recognized during a special ceremony on Oct. 10 at Williams Stadium during the Flames Football game against Louisiana-Monroe.

The Liberty Athletics Hall of Fame honors those who have helped raise the program from the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) ranks in 1972 to its current status as a thriving NCAA Division I program.
