Liberty Law students to offer free income tax assistance

Liberty University’s School of Law will be hosting its annual Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) in February and early March.
VITA is a free tax filing service for qualified individuals provided by Liberty Law students. The program will be held in the Mountain View room inside the School of Law, located at Green Hall, on the following dates and times:
Feb. 18, 20, 25, 27, 5:15-9:15 p.m.
Feb. 22 and 29, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
March 3, 5, and 6, 5:15-9:15 p.m.
The service is available to those who file individually or married filing jointly who have a yearly income of $56,000 or less.
The following items are required for this service:
Social Security Card
Photo ID
Tax forms such as the W2 and 1098-T (if applicable)
Other supporting or relevant documents
