The Liberty Flames scored three times in the ninth inning, breaking a 1-1 tie, en route to their 30th victory of the season, a 4-1 win, over the Duke Blue Devils, Tuesday afternoon at Jack Coombs Field.
The Flames move to 30-17 on the year, while Duke drops to 32-21. For the first-time in the 36-year history of the Liberty program, the Flames have won 30 or more games in five consecutive seasons.
