Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary to relocate

Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and Graduate School will soon have more room to accommodate increasing enrollment and new faculty and staff members.

LBTS President Dr. Ergun Caner announced Thursday that the seminary is slated for relocation this summer.

Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr. said the seminary will move from its current 7,700 square foot area into 9,000 square feet of space adjacent to the School of Law. The space, which is unfinished now, will be renovated in the coming months. The new location will include a dedicated entrance portico for LBTS.

“The ultimate goal for LBTS is to have a stand-alone building, but this temporary move will provide badly needed space for the growing seminary until a permanent facility is available,” Falwell said.
