Biography

Mrs. Kimberly Parker holds a B.S. degree in Piano Pedagogy from Bryan College and an M.A. in Music and Worship from Liberty University. She regularly performs as a collaborative pianist and soloist at Liberty University and in the greater Lynchburg area. She is also an active church musician and currently serves as a member of the worship and music team at Gospel Community Church.

While teaching at Liberty University, Mrs. Parker is also an active member of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and the Lynchburg Music Teachers Association (LMTA). She maintains a thriving private piano studio in the Lynchburg area where she specializes in teaching students ages 5 to 70 classical studies, improvisation, and composition.

Professor Parker joined the School of Music faculty in the fall of 2015 as Adjunct Professor of Piano. She and her husband live in Lynchburg, Virginia. She counts it one of her greatest joys to be able to serve the Lord through teaching and making music.
