Dr. Cassandra Hibbard, a distinguished clarinetist and educator, has established a remarkable career marked by exceptional performance, pedagogical excellence, and unwavering commitment to community engagement. Holding advanced degrees from Western Michigan and Michigan State Universities, Dr. Hibbard has honed her musical artistry under the guidance of renowned instructors.
Her professional journey has been characterized by a rich tapestry of performances, ranging from solo recitals to orchestral collaborations. As Principal Clarinetist of the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Hibbard has consistently delivered virtuosic performances that captivate audiences. Her dedication to her craft was recognized by the International Clarinet Association, which selected her to give the world premiere of a newly commissioned work.
Beyond her impressive performing career, Dr. Hibbard has made significant contributions to the field of music education. Since joining the faculty at Liberty University in 2014, she has mentored numerous talented students, many of whom have gone on to pursue successful careers in music.
