Military Insider: Fall 2022 Bravo Edition

Welcome to the 2022-23 academic year!

  • We are excited to head into the 2022-23 academic year and begin the Fall 2022 semester. The Office of Military Affairs is here to support you on your educational journey, and we hope you enjoy your semester! Continue to reach out if you have any questions regarding your military and veteran benefits or need any support along the way.

Submit TA and GI Bill® Documents Through the Student Checklist

  • Starting in the Fall 2022 semester, documents requested by the Military Affairs Office can be uploaded directly in your Student Checklist! This includes forms needed for Federal Tuition Assistance, GI Bill® benefits and military verification. Save yourself some time by using the checklist versus emailing or faxing documents! Learn more about Student Checklist. GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.

Yellow Ribbon Update

  • Beginning on August 1, 2022, if you are on active duty and you qualify at the 100% level or are a spouse using transferred benefits from an active duty service member, you could become eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program. See the VA’s Yellow Ribbon Program website to see if you meet the requirements and for more information. Liberty University will continue to be a Yellow Ribbon school in the 2022-23 academic year to support our service members and veterans with the cost of their education.
