All new and repeating student-doctors are required to attend orientation.
During Orientation Welcome Week, new Liberty University osteopathic medicine students will receive a thorough overview of their next four years at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM). Throughout the week, students will learn about the Center for Medical and Health Sciences, available resources, and the curriculum and meet current student-doctors, their families, and faculty.

White Coat Ceremony
8:00 – 9:30 : Student doctors have individual photos taken in their white coats
9:30 – 10:00 : Family and friends may arrive for the ceremony

The annual White Coat Ceremony will be held Saturday, July 20, inside the Center for Music and the Worship Arts, Concert Hall, on the main campus of Liberty University. A staged group picture of the Class of 2028 will be captured at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Attendance is required for all new Liberty University osteopathic medical students in the Class of 2028.
