Liberty medical students receive residency placements during Match Day 2019

Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) medical students celebrated along with thousands of other fourth-year student-doctors across the country as they received their residency placements during Match Day on Friday, March 15.
This year, 115 LUCOM student-doctors participated and had a match rate of 93 percent, higher than the national average. The top residency placements were in the areas of internal medicine, family medicine, and emergency medicine. Medical students placed in cities such as Chicago, Tulsa, Honolulu, Newport News, San Antonio, and Lynchburg.
