What Is the Enrollment Deposit?
- Your next step as an applied student in the enrollment process to Liberty University is submitting the Enrollment Deposit
- Submission of your deposit locks in an award package with the amount depending on the date you make your payment
- Although you’re getting valuable scholarships, the Enrollment Deposit is fully refundable for any reason if requested in writing by May 1 for fall applicants and December 1 for spring applicants
*Liberty Champion eligibility is based on the Student Aid Index (SAI) determined by the FAFSA.

- $400 Early Deposit Award applied to your first year
- $8,000 Liberty Champion spread out over your four years at Liberty (if eligible*)

The Middle America Scholarship – Up to $25,580
Whether you’re from California, Maine, or anywhere in-between, you may qualify for up to $25,580 over four years through our new scholarship. Created for students from families who typically make $35,000-95,000 annually, the Middle America Scholarship (MAS) — when combined with the Champion Award — provides a scholarship equivalent to the Federal Pell Grant.

Benefits of Completing Financial Check-In (FCI)
FCI is your gateway to everyday life at Liberty. During FCI you will set up payment options. Everyone has to do it but completing it early can grant many other benefits such as:

- Lower monthly payments (longer payment plans)
- Your choice of premium housing options
You’ll love life at Liberty no matter where you live or what you study — FCI simply locks in what that looks like.
*Early registration also requires your Enrollment Deposit and the Math & English Assessments be completed by the appropriate deadline.
Enrollment Deposit Refund Policy
Your Enrollment Deposit will be applied as a credit toward your Liberty University account for your first semester of attendance.
An Enrollment Deposit may be refunded only if the request is in writing and received by May 1 for fall applicants and December 1 for spring applicants. This deadline date is determined by your initial intended application term.
All Enrollment Deposit refund requests are submitted through email to admissions@liberty.edu.
The Enrollment Deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable after the above deadlines but may be deferred for up to one academic year should the student decide to attend in a subsequent semester. However, if the student updates his/her application and Enrollment Deposit to any other semester, he/she will no longer be eligible for a refund.
