On Wednesday afternoon, November 18, Liberty University School of Law welcomed Liberty University alumna Shannon Bream, Supreme Court reporter for Fox News Channel (FNC), to the law school. Ms. Bream spoke on her experiences within the newsroom, the media industry, as well as a detailed story of key events in her past that ultimately led to her position at FOX News.

Ms. Bream joined FNC in 2007 and is currently based in the network’s Washington, D.C. bureau where, she covers all Supreme Court hearings and other policy issues in the Nation’s Capitol. In addition to her frequent appearances on FNC reporting on a variety of issues, Ms. Bream has been recently hosting for “On the Record with Greta” when Greta Van Susteren is absent.

Ms. Bream recently commented in the Liberty Journal, a publication of Liberty University, “We may get a ruling from the Supreme Court where I’m running out on the [court] steps having to digest a 100-page opinion in five minutes and be on the air explaining it in a way that makes sense to the viewers.” “Some days I’m at the White House. Some days I’m on Capitol Hill. It is literally so different every day that I can go days without ever being at the desk because I’m out on assignment somewhere. It’s always a challenge, and you’re learning a new subject or a new topic every day,” she said. For the complete article, visit test.liberty.edu/libertyjournal.com.
