Liberty University School of Law welcomes Jeffrey M. Frederick, Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia, as he addresses students, faculty, and members of the community this Wednesday, March 25.

As a member of the House of Delegates in the Virginia General Assembly, Mr. Frederick became the first Latino ever elected to the Virginia legislature, as well as the youngest member of the General Assembly. Upon elevation to his current position, he became the youngest state GOP chief in the nation.

A graduate of Oxford College and Emory University, Mr. Frederick was first elected in November 2003, re-elected in 2005, and again in 2007 with 59% of the vote. During his time in the General Assembly, he served as a member of the Finance Committee; Transportation Committee; Health, Welfare & Institutions Committee; and the Privileges & Elections Committee. Mr. Frederick has served on several boards and commissions, including the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority and the Virginia Small Business Commission, of which he is Chairman.

Mr. Frederick is a Virginia native and currently serves on the Civilian-Military Council at Quantico. He is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Citizen’s Academy and is heavily involved in and works closely with the Hispanic Business Roundtable and the Latino Coalition.

In addition to his political activities, Mr. Frederick is Chief Executive Officer of GXS Strategies, a Virginia-based company that utilizes Internet technologies for small organizations and governments. As founder of GXS Strategies, he has become an industry leader in the field of online activism and in providing IT solutions for government agencies.
