The National Jurist, a legal education magazine, has listed Liberty University School of Law as one of the best law schools for bar exam preparation, ranking Liberty Law School in the top fifteen percent of all law schools in the nation. The announcement came on Friday, February 17, 2012 from the magazine, which boasts an estimated 100,000 readers.
According to the article, the statistical analysis revealed a clear correlation between LSAT (Law School Admission Test) scores and bar exam pass rate ratios using a mathematical model of each law school’s LSAT scores at the 25th percentile for 2010 (to account for those most likely to fail the bar exam), and the ratio of graduates who passed the bar exam compared to the state average for 2009 and 2010.

Staver, Dean and Professor of Law at Liberty University School of Law. “Our students undoubtedly succeed, not just on the bar exam, but in their legal careers as well.”
Last fall, the National Jurist recognized Liberty law school in the top five of all law schools for placing graduates in public service employment in the field of government. The National Jurist also ranked Liberty Law as the number four-law school in the country for the most popular law school.
