Liberty University School of Law announces the launch of its new Honors Program designed to reward high-performing students with extraordinary experiences that will augment an already-outstanding program of legal education. Professor Tory L. Lucas is the Director of the Honors Program at Liberty University School of Law.

“Our Honors Program promotes an exclusive brand of academic excellence that is eminently desirable, prestigious, enriching, and rewarding,” Lucas said. “The Honors Program encourages students to unlock their full God-given potential, rewards high-performing students with a unique and challenging academic experience that transcends the traditional law school experience, and places high-performing students in prestigious legal positions.”

Through the Honors Program, eligible students will have opportunities to participate in Law Review, competition teams, a Judicial Clerkship Seminar, and special mentor programs as well as roundtable discussions. Honors students may also conduct an independent research project that results in a paper of publishable quality.

School of Law Dean B. Keith Faulkner remarked, “You will find outstanding students up and down the roster at Liberty University School of Law. Our Honors Program simply adds to our already rich and diverse mixture of law students called to enter the legal profession.”
