Residential B.S. in Public Health – Pre-Clinical

Build foundational knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, microbiology, personal health, probabilities, and statistics with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health – Pre-Clinical from Liberty University. Gain the knowledge base you need for additional areas of study including biology, chemistry, or physics. By the end of the program, you’ll be equipped to integrate public health content with further graduate study.

Study with professors who hold advanced public health training and who are grounded in their Christian faith. This degree prepares you to take the National Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) examination for certification by the end of the program.

At the completion of your residential coursework, finalize this degree with a choice of capstone courses.

Capstone course options:

  • Public Health Senior Seminar (HLTH 498) – engage in more in-depth research on a health issue
  • Professional Internship in Health Promotion (HLTH 499) – work alongside a preceptor who mentors the application of the student’s skill set into the real-world job setting
