Biography
Dr. Kelly Lumpkin serves as an Athletic Training professor at Liberty University since 2017. She began her career as a certified athletic trainer in Tennessee prior to transitioning into a fulltime educator and Program Director for a CAATE approved Athletic Training Program between 2005-2017. Her clinical experience includes 11 years as a collegiate head athletic trainer and part-time services at high school, middle school, nursing home, community races and international medical missions. She serves as a trip leader for the “Rehabilitative Allied Health Program in Spain.” This trip serves to engage students in community service, cultural competency, and spiritual awareness. She serves as the Athletic Training Student Association Faculty Representative to engage students in professional development. She mentors students regularly with research projects and papers.
