Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Christian Studies
Gain a Deeper Understanding of Christian Doctrine and Prepare for Ministry Opportunities with Liberty’s B.S. in Christian Studies Degree
Liberty University’s Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Christian Studies is one of the most flexible divinity degrees you can pursue. In this program, you’ll have the opportunity to study a mix of topics in apologetics, biblical interpretation, theology, and ministry. With such a well-rounded set of courses, you can deepen your understanding of Christian doctrine and prepare for many exciting opportunities – from Christian education and mission work to parachurch ministries, church leadership, graduate school, seminary, and more!
As a Christian studies student, you will complete 1 divinity minor in addition to your degree – allowing you to expand your knowledge and dive into a specific area of study that interests you. Additionally, you’ll have room for free elective courses that give you the flexibility to further personalize your degree. These electives may stand on their own or be used toward earning a second minor or double major – so you can make the most of your education and develop the specific skill set you need for your career.
Please note: This degree requires students to obtain 1 divinity minor and strongly encourages students to pursue a second divinity minor, a minor from another school in the university, or a second major.
