What Will You Learn in Our Master of Divinity (M.Div.)?
Liberty University’s Master of Divinity program has many specialized areas of study to ensure that your field-specific needs are met. The core of our M.Div. program delivers foundational content studies in ministry writing and research, Old and New Testament studies, apologetics, evangelism, and discipleship ministries.
To enhance understanding and allow for better instruction, the Master of Divinity trains students to use common language tools for word studies and in-depth research. If you want an historical understanding of the Scriptures, you can take language courses in the original Greek and Hebrew styles. By pursuing our general M.Div. track, you will have the flexibility to choose areas of study that reflect your specific ministry needs and form the type of education you desire.
Career Options for M.Div. Graduates
Our M.Div. degree will prepare you to excel in the field as a:
- Instructional supervisor
- Military or civilian chaplain
