What Will You Learn in Liberty University’s Associate of Science in Physics Degree?

    • How to use differential equations to model physical phenomena
    • Kinematics, differential and integral calculus, and multivariable calculus
    • Mechanics, electronics, and magnetism

    As you pursue your A.S. in Physics from Liberty, you will take a variety of courses that cover topics like single and multivariable calculus. . Your University Physics II course is designed to provide a survey of electronics, optics, magnetism, and other topics that require a strong math and physics background.

    From there, you will study differential equations and their application to the field of physics. In your modern physics course, you will make frequent use of ordinary and partial differential equations as well as multiple integration. You will also study the Special Theory of Relativity, quantum mechanics, atomic structure, nuclear structure, and wave properties. Additionally, you will study heat and other topics that naturally follow your course of study.
