Program Expectations & Advising Resources for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Computer Science Education (6-12), Licensure
The B.Ed. in Computer Science Education (6-12) is designed for individuals who do not have an initial teaching license. This is the perfect program for individuals interested in earning a license in Computer Science Education. Field experience requirements will be completed early and often in the field of special education and culminate in a 16-week student teaching semester. Licensure in the state of Virginia requires that you meet all necessary criteria. Upon successful completion of Liberty University’s Virginia state-approved B.Ed. program, you may apply for your teaching license in another state through reciprocity, which may or may not result in additional requirements based on your state’s Department of Education regulations.
