Biography
Dr. Van Engen has served in two local churches for over 25 years as a pastor, associate/assistant pastor and youth pastor observing all aspects of ministry. His interests include leadership, worldview, and organizational development. He has presented at various conferences on these topics, the Autonomous Learning World Caucus (Oxford, UK), the Conclave of Leadership Research and Analysis (Virginia Beach, VA), Conference on Higher Education Pedagogy (Blacksburg, VA) and Virginia Tech: Teaching Large Classes (Blacksburg, VA).
