This is a great automatic way to support Liberty. It is easier and faster than sending a check, and after setting up the ACH, it can transfer automatically until you choose to end the process.

A charitable bequest is one of the easiest and most flexible ways that you can leave a gift to Liberty University that will make a lasting impact. Bequests include wills or revocable trusts, retirement beneficiary assignments, and life insurance policies.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest.

The impact of your gift to Liberty University may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

Are you looking to convert some of your property (such as cash or stock) into a fixed income for now and in the future? You may be tired of living at the mercy of the fluctuating stock and real estate markets. One solution is a charitable gift annuity.

A charitable gift annuity is a contract between you and Liberty University. You transfer cash and/or securities to us. In exchange, we pay you a fixed income for life. The fixed income can be quite high depending on your age. A portion of your income stream may even be tax-free. You will receive a charitable deduction for your gift of the remainder to Liberty University and the satisfaction of furthering our mission.

The property gift of a home, land, commercial property, or investment property also provides tax benefits. The university may choose to use the property to directly support your specified school, department, club, sport, or designation; or we may sell the property at full market value and use the funds to support your chosen cause. All gifts of property must be approved by our Real Estate Committee and abide by the Gift Acceptance Policy.

In-kind donations are non-monetary donations. They are a special way our supporters can make an impact on our students’ lives. In-kind donations can be goods or services and are available for tax benefits.

Your wise investment may be reinvested in Training Champions for Christ! The securities will be transferred into the university’s gift account at its brokerage firm.

Your broker initiates the gift transfer, and the shares are delivered electronically to the Liberty University brokerage account. Your gift is considered complete on the date the stock is received and a tax receipt will be sent out accordingly.
